TRICONEX 3625A thermocouple module

Thermocouple input (TC) module

The TRICONEX 3625A includes three separate input channels. Each input channel receives a variable voltage signal from each point, performs thermocouple linearization and cold-end compensation, and converts the result to degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. Then, each channel sends a 16-bit signed integer representing 0.125 degrees per count three times. Pattern in TMR and then use the guaranteed median to select the correct data for each scan. Each thermocouple input module is programmable to support a thermocouple type selected from J, K, and T for standard thermocouple input modules and any diagnostic failure channels from J, K, T, and E to activate the fault indicator, thereby activating the chassis alarm signal. The module fault indicator reports only channel faults, not module faults. The module continues to function in a maximum of two fault channels. The thermocouple input module supports the hot spare disk function to replace the faulty TRICONEX 3625A module online. The thermocouple input module requires a separate interface to the external terminal panel with cable Tricon backplane.
