The module provides eight very sensitive, high-frequency inputs. Optimized for non-amplified magnetic rotation, when common speed sensors are used in devices such as turbines or compressors. The module senses the voltage conversion device from the magnetic sensor input at the selected time window (rate measurement). The resulting count is used to generate frequency or RPM transmission to the main processor. This pulse count was measured to a resolution of 1 microsecond. The PI module consists of three isolated input channels. Each input channel independently processes all data input and passes the data to the main processor on the data to ensure the highest integrity. Each module provides complete diagnostics for each channel being performed. Any diagnostic failure channel activates the fault indicator, thereby activating the chassis alarm signal. The fault indicator indicates only a channel fault, not a module fault. The module is guaranteed to function properly in the presence of a single failure, and may continue to use some types of multiple failures. The pulse input module supports the hot standby module.
Warning: The PI module does not provide an additive capability optimization for measuring rotating devices. Regarding the pulse total, relay output modules, type 3636R and 3636T relay output (RO) modules are non-triple modules for non-critical equipment with incompatible point "high-end" solid-state output switches.
