The TRICONEX T8231 Programmable Logic Controller (Programmable Logic Controller) or programmable logic controller is an industrial computer that has been hardened and adapted to control manufacturing processes, such as assembly line machines. Robotic equipment or any activity that requires high reliability, ease of programming and process fault diagnosis. Dick Morley is considered the father of the PLC because he invented the first PLC, the Modicon 084, used by General Motors in 1968.
The TRICONEX T8231 ranges from small modular devices to dozens of input and output (I/O) in processor-integrated enclosures to large rack-mounted modular devices with thousands of I/ OS. and often with other PLCS and supervisory control and data acquisition (short for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. [1]
They can be designed for multiple digital and analog I/O configurations, extended temperature ranges, immunity to electrical noise, and resistance to vibration and shock. The programs that control the operation of the machine are usually stored in battery backup or non-volatile memory.
PLCS were originally developed in the automotive manufacturing industry to provide flexible, robust, and easily programmable controllers in place of hard-wired relay logic systems. Since then, they have been widely adopted as highly reliable automation controllers for harsh environments.
