The unit is a General Electric unit originally produced by Fanuc Automation as a VMIC unit. After being discontinued by General Electric, the line was subsequently acquired by Abaco Systems. The VMIVME-7486 is designed to be 100% PC/AT compatible and integrated with processor boards connected via the VME bus.
