Intended for use in 3U UMAC racks, the Turbine PMAC2 UMAC CPU, AC-8E is a module rack format that allows users to configure their racks with any input/output, servo-operated cards, macro cards, communication cards or other auxiliary cards Delta Tau offers for the UMAC rack format, building a fully user-customized system. Whether the turbo PMAC2 UMAC CPU can control 32 axes, the AC-8E has direct local control or distributed control over a macro fiber ring.

The Delta Tau UMAC 2-axis / 4-axis analog interface module consists of one AC-BE PMAC-2602469-103 for 2-axis control or two AC-8E PMAC-2602469-1032-axis analog servo interface boards for 4-axis control. The ACC-8Eaxis interface and distribution board provide interface circuits and distribution connectors for two or four channels of analog servo interfaces.
