Vsms-cca is the Ethernet VSMS-CCA-XP brand.

Vsms-cca-xp has a set of declining features. For example, dot1Q is the only one that supports encapsulation. LACP cannot be configured with a lag on the port. Port services can use a loop directly from SAP. If elasticity is required, or more capability is required, hysteresis can be configured. It can be set to VSM-CCA-XP

VSM-CCA MDA or VSM-CCA-XP MDA. This is not a member group when configured as VSM-CCA-XP CCA.

The VSMS-CCA-XP MDA provides a hybrid mode to simplify configuration and provides a high-capacity VSM when inserting an IOM card. The full forwarding path bandwidth (25Gb/s in this case) is available, allowing for a single session of up to 25Gb/s on a single MDA.

Vsms-cca-xp has two ports, port x/x/1 and port x/x/2, which are connected internally. The configuration is very similar to a physical loopback port using an Ethernet hybrid port with dot1Q encapsulation. Connect to SAP using Ethernet VLAN tags.

The following restrictions apply to the configuration of VSM-CCA-XP:

While LAG is available, LACP is not allowed.

Ethernet CFM is available only when the VSM is configured with the Eth Ring (the Ethernet ring is controlled by Ethernet MEPS).

ATM/L Ethernet last-mile aware QoS is not supported for broadband network gateways.

The following is an example configuration of the MDA configured as the VSM-CCA-XP MDA.

This section provides a brief overview of the tasks to be performed when configuring the VSM on the MDA, routers, router interfaces, and services.

Configure one or more CCAs as MDAs in the system.

Create the VSM CCAG on the system.

· Configure CCAG path bandwidth, path weight, and overall bandwidth parameters. · Allocate member CCAs to CCAG.

· Use CCAG, Path and CCID pre-configured service SAP for cross-connection.

Bind the network IP interface of the route to the CCAG, path, and CCID for cross-connection.

Configure the VSM on the MDA

Before using the CCA module in the system, the CCA must be deployed to the MDA slot. The MDA provisioning command must be modified to support the provisioning of the CCA adapter type. Each CCAG can be configured with a maximum of 8 member CC4s.
