This device does not use onboard axes, but relies on the macro loop in the PMAC system to move remote axes. A macro loop for intelligent control connections between an 80 MHz central processing unit (CPU) and a 16 node interface IC. You can control up to 32 axes using this board and macro ring. System memory is integrated into the device for job and program storage. 124K x 24 SRAM can be used for assembly program memory and user data memory. Built in additional 1K x 8 flash memory for firmware storage and user backup. Serial I/O communication can be achieved through RS232 or RS422 connections.
