61C22B 桌面操作系统与RTOS相比,另一个差别就是对于稳定、可靠方面的设计思路。一方面,桌面操作系统比较庞大、复杂,而RTOS比较小巧、简捷,而;越简单、越可靠,越复杂、故障概率越大这又是一个常理。另一方面,重要的是:桌面操作环境与嵌入式环境在设计思路上有一个重大的不同——桌面环境定应用软件与操作系统相比而言可以是不可靠的,而嵌入式环境定应用软件与操作系统—样可靠。
运行于嵌入式环境中的RTOS要求应用软件具有与操作系统同样的可靠,这种设计思路对应用开发提出了高的要求,同时也要求操作系统自身足够开放。

The 61C22B is a local I/O head manufactured by Reliance Electric. It may also have been sold by Asea Brown Boveri and Baldor Reliance.
The 61C22B is a track-mounted digital local head created specifically for track I/O systems on AutoMax DCS. When used in orbital IV/O systems, customization is allowed to meet system requirements. Four different digital V/ 0s are able to communicate with a single V/O port on the device. Then, the number /O number stars that can be connected to the remote O head can be increased from 64 to 256. The module also comes pre-installed with its own power supply, capable of powering the main power rail of the four digital V/O modules.
There are many components on the 61C22B panel. It has a 250VAC MDQ4 amp replaceable fuse room. It has a set of LED indicators labeled Power, COM, Track fault 0, track fault 1, track fault ⒉, and track fault 3. There are five 12-point male ports labeled RAILO, RAL1, RAIL2, RAL3, and INPUT. Four of the ports are IV/O communication ports and the last one is remote head communication port.
The 61C22B has a mounting bracket on the back that can be used to place the module on the rack assembly. The module has factory drill holes on the top and sides. These holes are crucial to the module because they allow air to flow into the module's internal circuitry.
I/O system refers to the input/output data processing system, which is mainly composed of external devices, interface components, buses, corresponding management software and I/O software.
I/O system features:
Interface unit: A hardware line for transmitting information between the host and peripherals, transmitting signals between the system bus and peripherals to provide buffering to meet the timing requirements on both sides of the interface.
Unified addressing mode: The I/O port is used as a memory unit for address allocation.
Another difference between 61C22B desktop operating system and RTOS is the design idea of stability and reliability. On the one hand, the desktop operating system is relatively large and complex, while the RTOS is relatively small and simple. The simpler, the more reliable, the more complex, the greater the probability of failure. On the other hand, it is important to note that there is a major difference in design thinking between the desktop operating environment and the embedded environment - the desktop application software can be unreliable compared to the operating system, while the embedded application software is as reliable as the operating system.
RTOS running in embedded environment requires the application software to have the same reliability as the operating system, this design idea puts forward high requirements for application development, but also requires the operating system itself to be open enough.
