This device was developed and manufactured by Delta Tau Data Systems, a motor control solution company. The PMAC-LITE unit is a part of the PMAC1 series CPU circuit board. It is designated as a full-size Industry Standard Architecture expansion board. No matter whether dual port RAM is equipped or not, it can fully realize the Industry Standard Architecture communication function, and does not need to plug in the ISA expansion port. These modules have been optimized to be connected to compatible servo drivers through their analog inputs, which are suitable for torque and motor speed based applications.

PMAC-LITE is equipped with at least eight control axes and has four channels, connected through onboard axis interface circuits. Standard network communication is accomplished using RS-232 or RS-422 serial ports. PMAC-LITE is equipped with up to 128k x 24 SRAM active memory and includes 8 EPROMs for firmware. Other ports integrated into the PMAC-LITE board include display ports, control panel ports, and multiplexing and direct input/output interface ports
