6024690-102 is a digital analog (DAC) terminal board developed by Delta Tau. When installing the DAC board, the external input/output module can interface with the PMAC 2 system. The output digital signals generated by PMAC 2 are converted into analog signals that can be digested by the I/O module using this board. The signals generated by the DAC board are converted using four integrated 18 bit analog-to-digital converters in the system. All output signals can maintain a maximum output range of -10 V to 10 V. Users can use the available selection jumpers on the device to set it to on, off, sink, or source out. The circuit board can be connected to the PMAC system through a 100 pin flat cable. This cable connects the circuit board and system, providing a hard wired direct connection. Other cables can be used to communicate with components such as onboard IDC connectors.
