Product overview

XVME-675 is a VMEbuS PC/AT processor module that combines the high performance and robust package of the VME bus with the broad application software foundation of the IBM PC/AT standard. This 6U dual-height module requires only one VME bus slot, is compatible with PC/AT, and supports all standard PC/AT software. The XVME-675 incorporates a 100MHz80486DX4 processor. The board has two memory options :16 or 32 megabytes of dual-access DRAM.

The XVME-675 contains a VME bus and PC/AT bus interface, a floppy disk interface, a high-performance IDE hard disk controller, a super VGA graphics controller with 1 Megabyte of video RAM. The module offers two serial ports, a parallel port, PS/2 compatible keyboard and standard ports, and a watchdog timer.

The module has a full 32-bit VME bus master/slave interface, allowing users to easily communicate with VME bus short 1/0, standard and extended address Spaces. The module also contains VMEbus Slot 1 functionality, as well as a complete VMEbus interrupter and interrupt handler.
