The 57554-4 is a Distributed power system Universal Drive Controller module (UDC) originally produced as part of the Reliance Electric AutoMax system. It may also be sold under ABB or Baldor Reliance product lines, but it has been discontinued. AX Control is still trying to keep this module in stock.

The 57554-4 is a user programmable control system that uses a microprocessor to control AC and DC drives in real time. It has 256 kb of non-volatile read/write flash memory, 512 kb of volatile SRAM, and 4 kb of dual-port SRAM. The module is capable of connecting to two different PMIs using fiber optic links. It can be plugged into the AutoMax card rack assembly and occupies only one slot. Up to 10 UDC modules can be plugged into a single rack, meaning that a single rack is now able to control up to 20 drives. It can communicate with processor modules on the rack via the Multibus bus.
