This nickel SCXI-1193(Part number :776572-93) is a high-density, 32-channel RF multiplexer switch module that can be arranged as an unterminated multiplexer, an externally terminated multiplexer, or a dimensionally generic sparse matrix. Each configuration can withstand signal frequencies from DC to more than 500 MHz. The module has a slot and utilizes high-density pusher MCX connectors for discrete but manageable wiring. The module cannot direct the signal to the high voltage analog bus. The SCXI-1193 was created for integration with high-frequency devices, including the PXI-5404 frequency generator and the PXI-5112 high-speed digitizer.

The SCXI 1193 can implement the following topologies: four-way 8 x 1 multiplexer, four-way 4 x 1 terminated multiplexer, dual-way 16 x 1 multiplexer, dual-way 8 x 1 terminated multiplexer, 32 x 1 multiplexer, 16 x 1 terminated multiplexer, and standalone modules. This RF multiplexer switch module can be used for a variety of different cables. These cables include :MCX-MCX cable, MCX-BNC cable, MCX-SMB cable, or MCX-SMA cable. Each cable is 0.3 or 1.0 meters long. A 50 ohm MCX terminal is also available. When the 50 ohm MCX terminal is located in half of the 32 channels, the user can use the module as an end multiplexer. The DC power requirements for this device are: +5 volts DC at 50 mA, +18.5 volts DC to +25 volts DC at 170 MA, and -18.5 volts DC to -25 volts DC at 170 Ma. This NI SCXI-1193 module has 36 MCX jacks for I/O connectors, 2 SMB jacks for triggering connectors, relays made of silver palladium and gold, and a maximum scan rate of 100 operations per second.
