The 8106-TI-RT-01 PAC8000 I/O is a fully modular I/O solution for general purpose and hazardous area applications. It offers a variety of I/O functions and has an open architecture that allows communication with a wide variety of different fieldbuses by selecting the appropriate type of bus interface module (BIM) or controller.

Field terminals (one per I/O module) are clamped onto the backplane to accept field wiring without the need for additional terminals or connectors. If damaged in the field, they can be easily replaced. A comprehensive mechanical keylock system ensures that equipment is maintained safely.

The 8106-TI-RT-01 backplane forms the physical and electrical backbone of the PAC8000 by providing a flat plate or mounting on a T or G DIN rail.
