The Penguin EdgeTMMVME8105 is a high-performance 6U VME SBC powered by the theNXPQorlQP5020 2.0GHz processor, supporting high-speed DDR3-1333 MHZ and ECC. It offers extended 10 and in-memory capabilities with multiple USB, serial, and Ethernet ports. Memory includes up to 4GB DDR3,512KB MRAM non-volatile memory, and 8GB eMMC NAND flash.

The MVME8105 expands the Penguin Edge VMEbus product family to extend the current program while providing more computational performance and data throughput. Compared to other variants of the MVME8100 family, the mvme8105 is designed to match the highest computing power while eliminating vxsinterface. In addition, the number of Gigabit Ethernet ports on the front panel has been increased to two, which is suitable for applications that require higher Ethernet connection capacity.

The MVME8105 supports a full range of BSPS, including Wind River VxWorks, Linux and Green HillsIntegrity, for a range of high-end industrial controls such as spe and photographic light plate, as well as C4ISR(including radar/sonar). It is also the ideal bc solution for high performance mission/safety critical applications.
