VMIVME-4132
The module is part of a product line originally developed by GE's Industrial Automation division and then purchased and manufactured by Abaco Systems. These devices are VMIC/GE Fanuc module boards, built for a variety of functions and applications such as CPU boards and input/output processing.
The unit is designated as the VMIVME-4132 module of the analog output board, equipped with up to 32 channels for analog output. These outputs can be programmed by various onboard jumper modules. These jumpers allow the output to operate over a variety of voltage ranges. All of these output channels are designed with 12-bit resolution and are fully capable of providing or absorbing 10 mA of current at plus or minus 10 V. To complete the offline test, the analog output can be disconnected from the external circuit.
The VMIVME-4132 modules are designed with the standard functional features of the VMIC/GE Fanuc series, such as compliance with VMEbus standards. The analog output board is a standard dual-height printed circuit compatible with the interface of the VMEbus specification. The address modifier module uses jumper selection with decoding capability to support unprivileged short inputs and outputs as well as monitor short inputs and outputs.
