Product description
VMIVME-3230 series
The device is part of the product lineup developed by Abaco Systems' Production and Manufacturing division. Initially, these devices were produced by General Electric, however, the module was withdrawn from General Electric's production and then purchased by Abaco Systems.
The module is VMIC/GE Fanuc VMIVME-3230 is an 8-channel low-level input board designed for thermocouple input.
The board provides reference junction compensation for low temperatures and can provide linearization for a variety of thermocouple integrated products. All VMIVME-3230 inputs are filtered and isolated. This ensures that the input to the model is protected and prevents possible normal overvoltages. This model also has an optional configuration that provides a high level input.
The thermocouple connection is performed on the screw terminal, which is directly connected to the P3 connector on the front panel.
The VMIVME-3230 unit is equipped with a VMEbus address modifier capable of decoding any I/O access. A single jumper module is provided to support short monitoring access.
The device can be designed with the application function of monitoring temperature measurement and managing industrial control system. A suite of machine instrumentation functions, as well as an integrated current loop receiver module.
