IC695CRU320

The IC695CRU320 has two separate serial ports and an Intel Celeron-M microprocessor. Its 64MB non-volatile flash memory complements 64MB of battery-powered random access memory (RAM). The IC695CRU320 also supports local and remote extension racks. The CPU uses a serial backplane design that is compatible with the expansion modules (but not the mainframe) in the 90-30 series I/O product family. The IC695CRU320 uses Proficy Machine Edition and is used in all GE Fanuc controller development environments.


The IC695CRU320 is a redundant processor in the PACSystems RX3i product family. The processor is manufactured by GE FanuclEmerson automaton and is classified as a Programmable Automation Controller - (PAC).

The IC695CRU320 is particularly suitable for redundant or hot standby configurations. With this controller configuration, availability is significantly improved. Two (2) controller racks with similar configuration functions as the primary (primary) and secondary (standby) racks. When a single rack fails, mainly due to an error detected by the C695CRUS320 or an error by the C95CRU320 processor itself, the active controller responsibilities are automatically transferred to Hansuke (standby). The auxiliary rack becomes the host rack, and the faulty rack is transferred to the auxiliary rack. In addition, it can be switched manually.

Controller switching is performed in a maximum of one logical scan with a minimum switching time of 3.133 ms. It supports up to IC695RMX128228 synchronous links and is capable of transferring up to 2MB of data. The controller features a Celeron M processor with 1GHz processing speed and 64MB of user memory, making it ideal for large, complex applications with higher critical levels. In addition, the processor can store up to 512 program blocks, each up to 128 KB in size.

The IC695CRU320 processor is installed on the RX3i backplane directly into the Peripheral Component Interconnect - (PCI) slot. Connections to other modules of the bus are also made through PCI22 or later. This PCI slot enables fast transfer and sharing of data within the backplane. The IC695CRU320 also supports the 90-30 Series IO modules for phased migration.

The current requirements for the GE FanuclC695CRU320 CPU are 1 amp (3.3 volts DC) and 1.2 amp (5 volts DC). There are two integrated serial ports on the module, which support RS-232 and RS-485 communication. A maximum of 512 program blocks can be configured. Each block supports a maximum of 128kB. The rated flash durability rating is at least 10,000 write erase cycles. The minimum switching time is 3.133 MSA, and the maximum switching time is 1 logical scan. Up to 2MB of data can be transferred at a time. The IC595CRU320CPU supports up to two IC695RMX128228 synchronous links for redundancy. Programming of the IC6595CRU320CPU can be done in ladder diagram, C and function block diagram languages. Ethernet communication is supported through a rack-based Ethernet communication module.
