The module can be installed in any available slots on the 5-slot or 12-slot baseplate. Depending on the series 90-30 cpus, IC693ALG222 is limited to 4 installations on 311/313/323 cpus, 8 installations on 331 cpus, and 12 installations on 340/341 cpus. The number of installations on a 350-364 CPU is limited to 51. This includes remote I/O racks supported by each specified CPU.

The IC693ALG222 analog voltage input module consumes 112 mah of current from the 5 volt bus located on the PLC. It also requires 41 milliamps of current to power the on-board power converter, which supplies power to the client circuit.
