General Electric developed the 531X111PSHACG2 card to be used as an electrical field control and power board when installed in a drive. The card is manufactured as a member of the 531X series replacement board. A range of GE branded drives are designed to mount this board in their cabinets. When installed in a drive system, the board provides the necessary power for the drive. This particular board was developed as a G2 version, and the card was developed to run inside an external driver rather than a drive.

Three voltages are generated when this card is installed into the drive. The host can provide output rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The power required for the driver's electrical field control circuit is also provided via an integrated pulse transformer. The board includes many adjustable functions that can be configured according to user needs. Six relays provide areas for the execution of system control options.
