Product description

The 469-P1-HI-A1-E-H from GE Multilin can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into existing systems for the management and protection of medium to large motors. The 469 is a motor management relay with a number of adaptive features that help maintain motor life and reduce troubleshooting time, such as torque protection and double overload curves.

In terms of communication functions, the 469-P1-HI-A1-E-H relay has an RS232 port at the front and two RS485 ports at the rear of the relay. Both ports can be connected directly to a computer running the EnerVista 469 software program. The EnerVista program allows for easier set point editing, data viewing and data trends. The EnerVista software can also export this data for analysis.

This version of the part comes with a conformal coating, which is a thin polymer protective film that protects against corrosion, dust, humidity and extreme temperatures. Conformal coatings increase the durability of relays and make them safer in harsh operating environments. Conformal coating can also be added to other relays in the series, as AX Control can apply it internally.

The 469 was packaged in a standard SR 469 series chassis, consisting of an extraction device and a dust door. The relays are fixed in the case with multiple pins and installation is relatively simple according to the manufacturer's recommendations provided in the 1601-0122-AG manual.
