The DS200SLCCG1AFG Alternative LAN communication board is just one version of many available in inventory. The board is designed for use in GE's Mark V turbine control system, which is used to control and manage industrial gas and steam turbine systems. The MK V control system can be set up as a simplex or TMR(three-mode redundancy) system. It is important for customers to know that DS200SLCC boards generally do not include software located in the U6 and U7 EPROMs because these sockets are empty when the boards are shipped. If you do not plan to remove the eprom from the old board to move to the new board, order a replacement board with an eprom (DS215 level).

The DS200SLCCG1AFG board is mounted on a stand located on the SDCC board and interfaces with a keyboard located on the card via a KPPL connector.

The DS200SLCCG1AFG has a 16-bit alphanumeric display parallel to one edge. There are four columns located near the end of this display (ST1 to ST4) to protect its glass tips. These posts look like jumpers, but should not be confused with jumpers located elsewhere on the board. You can modify the jumper Settings to change the RS-422 lan driver or isolate the lan circuit. In addition, the J19 jumper is used to connect the crystal to the processor. Additional jumper Settings can be found in the tables in the relevant manuals and user guides.
