The IS230TBTCH1B is a small board assembly manufactured by General Electric for the Mark VI. MKVI, a gas and steam turbine management system, was one of the last products released by GE under the name Speedtronic. Mark VI is a complete integrated management system in which hardware and software are designed together and work together to keep the turbine at its optimum level. The Mark VI is available in TMR(three-mode redundancy) and pure form.

The IS230TBTCH1B is a thermocouple input terminal board. The board can accept thermocouple inputs of E, J, K, or T type. This card works with a VTCC processor and is designed with two barrier type terminal bars placed on its leading edge. These are labeled TB1 and TB2. Each terminal group has 24 thermocouple inputs.

During installation, the thermocouple is directly connected to the I/O terminal block of the IS230TBTCH1B. J-connectors on the board (JRA/JRB, JSA/JSB, JTA/JTB) will be connected to the input/output processor located in the VME rack.

The IS230TBTCH1B screws are mounted on the shielding rods in three positions. This frame wraps around all four sides of the PCB and extends from the leading edge. The thermocouple input can be grounded or ungrounded. If you need to maintain the terminal block, remove the terminal block from the board surface.
