HydranTM 201Ti is a small and easy to install continuous dissolved gas analysis (DGA) monitor in oil. It provides the basic information used in IEEE ⑧ standard C57.104, which can serve as the first basic line of defense for transformers in the fleet to obtain pre warning of fault conditions and minimize the risk of unplanned downtime. The composite gas sensor of 201Ti uses fuel cells to provide the world-renowned "Hydran gas value" technology (described as a fixed instrument. Method 3 in the standard). Its reaction to hydrogen is 100% (general fault gas), and it is also sensitive to carbon oxide (overheated paper), acetylene (arc), and Z-ene (overheated oil), thus covering the root cause of all main transformer faults.
