The GE 531X309SPCAJG1 is a signal processor card for the 531X series. The boards in this family are replacement boards that can be installed in a range of GE branded drives. The board functions of the signal processor card include local area network (LAN) control board and driver control board I/O processing.

The 531X309SPCAJG1 provides many important I/O processing capabilities for the drive. The device provides an interface medium between the processor card and an externally connected encoder and tachometer. All interface communication provides speed feedback that is relayed to the driver's control board. It also converts three current reference signals and voltage level signals into voltage reference signals. These signals are then sent to the drive's control board to execute the command. RS-422 serial signals can also be processed with this board. After processing, these signals are sent to the motor control processor on the drive.
