The DS200AAHAH1A is a GE ARCNET Connector board (AAHA) for the Mark VLM series Speedtronic hardware.

The DS200AAHAH1A is a PCB capable of acting as an interface unit to connect various I/O cores or external devices to the <R> control engine. AAHA provides the connection to ARCNET. <R> Two AAHA boards are used in the kernel. One that acts as a middleman between the <R> core and the user interface. The APL connector connects this board to the UCPB subboard on the UCIA board located in the <R> core. The second is a way to connect COREBUS to the <R> kernel. It also facilitates communication between the I/O kernel and the <R> control engine in the <R> kernel. The APL on this board is connected to the PANA subboard.

The DS200AAHAH1A is a small PCB with 3 communication ports on the top. The port on the left is not used very often and is labeled as an EBNC port. Next to EBNC are the ARCBNC-A and ARCBNC-B ports, which are the connections used for ARCNET communication. In the lower right corner is a 2-pin 2PL connection port. In the middle is an APL 10-pin connection port. This port provides a means of communication with a motherboard that has an ARCNET driver and is located in the <R> kernel.
