The IC697CHS790 is a 9-slot rear rack that is part of the 90-70 series programmable Logic controller (PLC) family, previously offered by GE Fanuc Automation and now owned by Emerson Automation. The hardware provides a mounting location for any IC697 module through an available electronic mounting slot. It allows any installed module to be connected to the backplane to receive backplane power and communicate with a communications adapter or central processing unit (CPU).

The IC697CHS790 installation slot is suitable for any IC697 module. Another mounting slot is also provided for mounting the rack power supply.
