Functional characteristics

Description: The VMIVME 4140-000 analog output board provides 32 high-quality analog output channels with 12-bit resolution and can generate or absorb 10 mA current at 10V. Each output has A dedicated D/A converter (DAC) assigned to it and the analog output can be disconnected from the field wiring for off-line testing. The VMIVME 4140-000 calibration and self-test is initiated by resetting the cVMEbus system or by executing software commands. During calibration, the offset and offset coefficient tables are compiled and stored in RAM. The VMIVME 4140-000 has an offset and gain term on the eoch of 32 channels configured in six output voltage ranges.

Self-test: The self-test runs automatically after the system restarts, and the self-test register indicates success or failure and can indicate the failed channel

Front panel Status LED: The LED lights up after the system is reset. After the successful completion of the test and automatic calibration, the LED is extinguished. Leds can also be turned on and off under software control
