The IC693ALG223D is a PACSystems series 90-30 RX3i analog current input module with 16 channels. The module's 16 independent and single-ended channels can be configured in any of the following three ranges: 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, or 4 to 20 mA enhanced. Both high and low alarms are available for each range. In the enhanced range, the IC693ALG223 module can be set to a low alarm limit to detect input current through open fault detection in 4 to 20 mA applications; Users can also set high alert alerts. In addition, this module also reports the status, including the power status of the CPU. The IC693ALG223D can be used in any I/O slot that provides serial connectors in the RX3i or 90-30 series.

Specifically for the IC693ALG223D module, the 5 VCD bus on the controller backplane consumes 120 mA of current. This also requires a 65 mA plus current loop, powered by a +24 VDC supply provided by the user.
