The IC697CMM741 is a 90-70 series Ethernet programmable controller. The IC697CMM741 controller is a member of the IC651 Factory LAN hardware and software product family. The group provides high-performance solutions for interconnected automation controllers. The IC697CMM741 controller is designed to fit into a slot in the IC697 PLC frame. The IC697CMM741 controller allows the PLC to connect directly to the IEEE 802.3CSMA /CD LAN. It comes with a standard 15-pin AUI port connection and is designed for IC697 controllers. Users can provide their own AUI or transceiver cable. It uses a single slot in a PLC rack and the software is easy to load and/or upgrade. In addition, at least six months of software can be saved by losing power.

When installing the IC697CMM741 controller into the PLC frame, the power supply to the frame must be cut off. Connect the battery to the front of the front cover with the hinge to the right. The label of the cable should face away from the surface of the board. Once the battery is connected to one of the connectors, simply press lock. Insert the controller into the corresponding slot (usually the first slot on the right of the CPU or BTM). Do not pry the plate when it is locked. It is important to note that if the Ethernet controller has an empty slot on the left, it will not work properly. Note: The green ground cable must be securely secured to the chassis of the rack, and the rack must be grounded to ensure the function of the LAN.
