As part of the VersaMax family, the IC200MDL930 produced by GE Automatics is an output module with eight output points. The output points on this module are Type A relays, which means they are compatible with AC and DC loads. When the central processing unit is active and the output logical bit is set to "1", the contact point of the device is closed. Both the network interface unit and the central processing unit intelligently process the 8-bit output data.

IC200MDL930 The power supply for the operation of the module comes from the rack-mounted backplane. If any positive or negative load switching function is required, an auxiliary power supply is required. The power consumption of the 5v output backplane is 245 mA. The load current varies at each output point, but is at least 10 mA. The output point of this device is open contact, no output leakage current. The relay type for each output point is a fixed coil with a moving armature, and the contact type is silver alloy. The IC200MDL930 has a slightly slower on/off response time than the other VersaMax modules, at 10 milliseconds each. The switching frequency of the induced load is measured at 20 times per minute.

In addition to individually isolated output points, the IC200MDL930 also has channel-to-channel isolation. However, this product does not provide protection, nor does it have an internal fuse or buffer. Heat derating does not apply to this device. The "On" and "off" status of the output point is displayed through the corresponding LED indicator.
