Cable shield connection

IC200ALG322 Shielded twisted pair cables are recommended for connecting all analog channels.

If the module is installed on a terminal type IO carrier (ic200chso01002, or 005) or a compact terminal type IO carrier (ic200chso022025), the cable shield can be connected directly to the carrier according to the field wiring table. The auxiliary lO terminal strip (IC200TBMO01,002, or 005) can also be added to the terminal type IO carrier to assist in grounding shielding. If you plan to use it for this purpose, be sure to ground the auxiliary lO terminal strip.
