现场设备与FBM之间的最大距离是合规电压(19.6VDC,20.4mA)、导线电阻和现场设备上的电压降的函数。

A pair of redundant modules are combined to provide redundancy at the fieldbus module (FBM) level, with the field VO connected to a common terminal component (see Figure 1). FBM205 Each module independently attempts to keep the output at its specified output value, and each module independently reports the input values it observes.

Field device wiring distance:

The maximum distance between the field device and the FBM is a function of the compliance voltage (19.6VDC,20.4mA), wire resistance, and voltage drop on the field device.

Loop power protection:

Each channel is current isolation, current limiting and voltage regulation between channels.

All analog outputs are limited by their design, at about 25 mA. If the output FET is short-circuited, the output current can be increased to 35 mA. In normal operation, the current of the FBM is a0 to 750Ω.
