Compact design

The compact FBM237-P0914XS is designed to be narrower than the standard 200 Series Fieldbus module (fbm). It has a rugged acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) exterior for physical protection of the circuit. Enclosures specially designed for mounting fbm provide various levels of environmental protection up to harsh environments (G3 class), in compliance with ISA standard S71.04.

High reliability

The redundancy of module pairs, coupled with the high coverage of failures, provides a very high subsystem availability time.

Any module in the redundant pair can be replaced without interfering with the input or output signal of the good module. When removing or replacing a module, you do not need to remove onsite device terminal cables, power cables, and communication cables.
