The A6410's main function is to accurately monitor the opening state of the valve and the expansion state of the cylinder. For example, the valve position is usually a measurement of the stem position of the main steam inlet, showing the open status as a percentage. In addition, expansion monitoring typically consists of two inductive displacement sensors mounted axially, parallel to the shaft, and mounted on each side of the turbine housing. It can monitor the appropriate expansion rate to prevent turbine failure.
