Description: The IC695PNC001 is a PACSystems RX3i communication module manufactured by Emerson Automation (formerly GE Intelligent Platform (GE IP)). This module is the PROFINET controller module for connecting the RX3i system to the PROFINET network. It supports PROFINET version 2.2 General Purpose Class A IO controllers and is compatible with CPU315 or CPU320 with firmware version 7.0 or higher. Each PROFINET controller supports up to 64 devices and up to 8 I/O controllers can be connected to each network. This PROFINET controller can connect up to 2048 I/O devices or 128 per network. The module has two RJ-45s and two SFP slots as well as a micro-USB connector.

IC695PNC001 controller refers to the master device that changes the wiring of the main circuit or control circuit and changes the resistance value in the circuit to control the start, speed regulation, braking and reverse of the motor in accordance with the predetermined sequence.

Only one IP address is assigned to these PROFINET ports. A single CPU can install up to four (4) IC695PNC001s and must be located only on the host shelf where the CPU is located. Up to sixty-four (64) I/O devices can be connected to one (1) controller; There are 128 I/O devices per network, distributed among eight (8) I/O controllers. In addition, up to eight (8) I/O devices can be installed in a single network. The module has configurable data update times IC695PNC001 for 1 ms, 2 ms, 4 ms, 8 ms, 16 ms, 32 ms, 64 ms, 128 ms, 256 ms and 512 ms.


It occupies A single slot in the chassis and consumes 0.5 A when no SFP device is installed, and A maximum of 1.2 A when two (2) SFP devices are installed, of which the SFP device uses 0.35 A. At 5.5 VDC, the module consumes A maximum of 1.5 A.


In addition to the embedded dual PROFINET ports, the module is equipped with a micro-USB connector for communicating with the computer using the command line interface. It must operate in a temperature range of 0-60 degrees Celsius.
