Description: The IC200ALG331 is a 4-point analog voltage/current input module in the VersaMax I/O family, formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms and now owned by Emerson Automation. The module features four (4) independently isolated output channels that provide 1-20 mA and +/ -10 VDC output signals with a 16-bit resolution and a maximum update rate of 7.0 ms. The module is fully configured by software with optional output hold or default last working state functions.

The IC200ALG331 is an analog output module for the VersaMax I/O platform, a compact, versatile and scalable distributed I/O module. The part number represents a 16-bit voltage and current configurable module with four (4) independently isolated output channels. The module is used to drive and regulate final control elements (FCE), such as control valves for flow control, variable frequency drivers (VFDS) for motor speed and torque control, dampers and shutters in facilities, as well as HVAC applications and other devices equipped with positioners. The module can also be used to relay analog signals that may be the result of continuous calculations within the logic of a programmable logic controller (PLC), displayed by a panel meter and recorded by a data logger. It can also be used to connect to a signal isolator or signal splitter, or to cascade a reference signal to another single-loop controller or PLC for more complex controller architectures, such as cascade control.


The IC200ALG331 has a software-configurable output channel to generate a +/ -10 VDC or 4-20 mA output signal. The maximum update rate per channel is 7 ms and the maximum accuracy at full scale is +/ -0.1%. Each channel is also capable of configuring and detecting high/low limit, over/under ranges, open circuit, field power loss, non-volatile memory failures, and individually assigning output behavior in response to PLC stops or module errors, such as holding the last state or downclocking to zero (0), which can also be modified. Since IC200ALG331 is fully software configurable, there is no need to install the Termina jumper to this module to set the operating mode.
