For some rotating devices and the processes associated with them, periodic path-based data collection is not sufficient to monitor the health of the asset. Online condition monitoring provides the frequency and type of data needed to continuously resolve ongoing issues during normal operation and to quickly respond to sudden changes in transient conditions. Emerson's AMS 6500 Mechanical Health monitoring system is versatile and scalable, and can be deployed in different configurations to provide online condition monitoring as required by the application.
