Fireye Phoenix type 85UVF型火焰扫描器是基于微处理器的设备

The Phoenix 85UVF/IRF is available in a variety of models, differentiated by spectral range, hazardous area certification level, and agency approval. Please refer to Table 1 on page 3 for an overview of model and product certifications.


Using solid state flame detection sensors. The Phoenix Flame scanner has a built-in flame relay that automatically sets on/off thresholds, eliminating the need for a remote flame amplifier or flame switch.


The Phoenix 85UVF/IRF Flame scanner is powered by 24 volts direct current. The electrical connection is achieved through an 8-pin electrical quick disconnect device (QD). Simulation of flame intensity 4 to 20mA output is standard.


Note: The Phoenix QD model with electrical quick disconnect device has replaced the original model


Equipped with 10 feet of tethered cable. The QD model (with 59-546-x cable) is suitable for


Class I Zone 2 Hazardous area, so the "EX" type is not required. “CEX”


The model remains the same for Ex II 2 G/D hazardous areas


One serious drawback is that almost all radiation can be absorbed by water vapor; This is particularly effective for infrared flame detection in the 4.3 to 4.4 micron range. From about. At 3.5 microns or higher, the absorption rate of water or ice is actually 100%. This makes infrared sensors for outdoor applications very insensitive to fire. The biggest problem is our ignorance; Some infrared detectors have an (automatic) detector window self-test, but this self-test only monitors the presence of water or ice on the detector window.


Salt film is also harmful because salt absorbs water. However, water vapor, fog, or light rain can also make the sensor nearly invisible without the user knowing it. The reason for this is similar to what a fireman does when approaching a hot fire: he shields himself from the enormous infrared thermal radiation by passing a water vapor barrier. The presence of water vapor, fog, or light rain will also "protect" the display from seeing the fire. However, visible light will pass through the water vapor barrier, which can be easily seen by the fact that one can still see the flame through the water vapor barrier.


The typical response time of infrared detectors is 3-5 seconds.
