3500/20 125744-02 BENTLY机架接口模块（RIM）是3500机架的主要接口。它支持用于配置机架和检索机械信息的专有协议。RIM必须位于机架的插槽1中（电源旁边）。

3500/20 125744-02 BENTLY Rack Interface Module (RIM) is the main interface of the 3500 rack. It supports proprietary protocols for configuring racks and retrieving mechanical information. The RIM must be located in slot 1 of the rack (next to the power supply).

RIM supports compatible Bently Nevada external communications processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. While RIM provides certain features that are common throughout the rack, RIM is not part of the critical monitoring path and has no impact on the correct and normal operation of the overall monitoring system. One RIM is required per rack.

For three-mode redundancy (TMR) applications, the 3500 system requires the TMR version of RIM. In addition to all standard RIM features, TMR RIM performs a "monitor channel comparison." The 3500 TMR configuration implements monitoring voting using the Settings specified in the monitor options. Using this method, TMR RIM continuously compares the output of three (3) redundant monitors. If TMR RIM detects that information from one of the monitors is no longer within the configured percentage of information from the other two monitors, it flags the monitor with an error and places an event in the system event list.
