The ADAPT 3701 series is suitable for machines classified as critical to highly critical that require permanent in-line protection and condition monitoring systems. The compact form factor, number of sensor channels, and signal processing capabilities make the ADAPT3701 monitor an excellent solution for a family of machines with fewer sensor counts and challenging mechanical dynamics

The Bently Nevada ADAPT3701/40 mechanical dynamics monitor is designed for a wide range of machine families or individual enclosures where sensor point counting is suitable for channel counting of the monitor and advanced signal processing is required. The 3701/40 is optimized for the intensive signal processing required for complex machinery such as gearboxes, planetary gearboxes and roller bearing (REB) machines, and provides advanced measurement capabilities on conventional monitoring methods such as radial vibration, thrust position and absolute vibration of the housing. The 3701/40 Dual Redundancy (DR) monitor is designed for applications where the reliability of vibration systems is required.

The 3701/40 has a robust industrial design that allows for mounting slides close to the machine, reducing mounting wiring. Its compact size offers more mounting options than traditional rack-based solutions. It is capable of accepting a variety of sensor types, including eddy current proximity probes, accelerometers, velocities, accelerations, dynamic pressures, integrated circuit piezoelectric sensors (EPE), and magnetic speed sensors.

Processor modules or CPU modules perform analog-to-digital conversion, digital signal processing, alarm and logic processing, and communicate with Bently Nevada software and factory automation systems. It employs sophisticated diagnostics and fault detection processes to enhance the reliability, availability and maintainability of protection and monitoring systems.
