3500/92 is a communication gateway module developed by Bently Nevada. The communication gateway module provides a wide range of serial (RS232/RS422/RS485) and Ethernet TCP/IP communication functions, used to integrate all rack monitoring values and status with process control and other automation systems. In addition, it also supports Ethernet communication with data collection software and 3500 rack configuration software. The supported protocols include:

Modicon Modbus protocol (via serial communication)

Proprietary Bentley Nevada protocol (for communication with 3500 rack configuration and data acquisition software packages)
