The 3500/60 module is a 6-channel monitor that can accept input from a resistive temperature sensor (RTD) or a galvanic couple sensor (TC). Using these input signals, the drive alarm device 3500/60 does not provide a recorder output.

The 3500/60 can be programmed with the 3500 framework configuration software for temperature measurement of either RTD or TC, with different 1/0 modules allowing the user to choose between RTD/T uninsulated or insulated TCS.

The RTD/TC non-insulated type can be configured to accept input from TC or RTD, or a mixture of both. The T insulation type provides 250Vdc insulation between channels to protect against external interference.

RTD current source :92515pA@25C/ per sensor (4-wire RTD for single power supply, 3-wire for dual power supply). Recorder :+4 to +20mA. Its value is proportional to the full scale of the monitor. For each channel, a separate recorder is provided. The operation of the monitor is not affected by the short circuit of the recorder output.

The Bently Nevada 3500/60 temperature monitor offers six temperature monitoring channels and accepts resistance temperature detector (RTD) and thermocouple (TC) temperature input. The module adjusts these inputs and compares them to user programmable alarm setting points.

Users program modules with 3500/60 rack configuration software to perform RTD or TC temperature measurements. Different I/O modules have RTD/TC non-isolated or TC-isolated versions. Users can configure the RTD/TC non-isolated version to accept TC or RTD, or a mixture of TC and RTD inputs. The TC-isolated model provides 250 Vdc inter-channel isolation to prevent external interference.

When used in a three-module redundancy (TMR) configuration, the temperature monitors must be installed next to each other in groups of three. When used in this configuration, the system uses two types of voting to ensure accurate operation and avoid single point voting.

3500/60 Input power options:

175 to 264 Vac msR:(247 to 373 Vac, pk), 47 to 63Hz. This option uses AC power and is a high voltage (usually 220V) AC power input module (PIM). Install AC power input modules (PIMs) before version R and/or power modules before version M requiring voltage input :175 to 250 Vac rms.

Out-of-limit protection: For all power supply types, low voltage will not damage the power supply or PIM. An out-of-range voltage will open the fuse on the PIM.
