3500/45 差胀/轴向位置监测器是一个可接收趋近式涡流传感器、旋转位置传感器(RPT)、DC 线性可变微分变换器(DCLVDT)、AC 线性可变微分变换器(AC LVDT)和旋转电位计输入信号的4 通道监测器。
3500/45胀差监测器是一个四通道监测器，它从涡流传感器接收输入信号，并用该信号驱动报警。利用3500框架组态软件为3500/45编程，可以执行以下任何一种功能:胀差、补偿式输入胀差、机壳膨胀（仅限CH3、CH4）。3500/45监测器使用位移输入/输出模块，该模块能接收来自以下本特利•内华达传感器的输入信号。
涡流传感器：25、35和50mm扩展范围传感器及LVDT。
3500/45监测器的基本作用是提供1)机械保护，通过连续不断地比较当时的转子位移与报警设置点来驱动报警2)将重要的转子位移信息给操作人员和维修人员。报警设置点可用3500框架组态软件来设置。可为每个有效成比例值设置报警设置点，也可根据监测器类型为每一个或两个有效成比例值设置危险设置点。
当远离厂家时，3500/45是以未组态过的形式交货的。当需要时，3500/45可以被安装进3500框架，进行组态以执行所要求的监测功能。

The 3500/45 differential expansion/Axial position monitor is a 4-channel monitor that can receive input signals from the approach eddy current sensor, rotary position sensor (RPT), DC linear variable differential converter (DCLVDT), AC linear variable differential converter (AC LVDT), and rotary potentiometer.

The 3500/45 expansion monitor is a four-channel monitor that receives an input signal from the eddy current sensor and uses that signal to drive the alarm. The 3500/45 can be programmed with the 3500 framework configuration software to perform any of the following functions: differential expansion, compensated input differential expansion, housing expansion (CH3, CH4 only). The 3500/45 monitor uses a displacement input/output module that receives input signals from the following Bentley Nevada sensors.

Eddy current sensors: 25, 35 and 50mm extended range sensors and LVDTS.

The basic role of the 3500/45 monitor is to provide 1) mechanical protection by continuously comparing the current rotor displacement with the alarm setting point to drive the alarm and 2) to convey important rotor displacement information to the operator and service personnel. The alarm setting point can be set by 3500 frame configuration software. An alarm setting point can be set for each valid proportional value, or a danger setting point can be set for each or both valid proportional values, depending on the monitor type.

When away from the manufacturer, the 3500/45 is delivered in an unconfigured form. When required, the 3500/45 can be installed into the 3500 frame and configured to perform the required monitoring functions.
