The Bentley Nevada 3500/50 and 3500/50M series tachometer module is a 2-channel module that accepts input from proximity probes or magnetic pickups to determine shaft speed, rotor acceleration, and rotor direction. The module connects these measurements to a user programmable alarm set point and generates an alarm when the set point is violated. The 3500/50M-01-00-01 tachometer module can be configured to provide conditional Keyphasor* signals to the 3500's backplane for use by other displays in the rack. Therefore, you do not need to separate the Keyphasor module in the rack. The 3500/50M-01-00-01 tachometer module has a peak-hold function that stores maximum speed, maximum reverse speed or the number of reversals the machine has achieved.
