The 3500/92 Communication Gateway Module provides a wide range of communication capabilities for all rack monitoring values and statuses, integrating process control and other automation systems using both Ethernet TCP/IP and serial

(RS232/RS422/RS485) communication capability. It also allows Ethernet communication with 3500 rack configuration software and data acquisition software.

The supported protocols include:

Modicon ⑧ Modbus ⑧ protocol (via serial communication)

Modbus/TCP protocol (a variant of serial Modbus for TCP/IP) Ethernet communication

Proprietary Bently Nevada protocol (for communication with 3500 racks) configuration and data acquisition software package

The Ethernet connection of 3500/92 is configured with a 10BASE-T star RJ45 Ethernet network.

The 3500/92 supports communication interfaces, communication protocols, and other functions in addition to the main value Modbus register from the original 3500/90. 3500/92 now has a configurable Modbus register control

The primary value Modbus register for the same function being processed.
