The GE/Bentley Nevada 3500/42M Series Proximity/Seismic Monitor is a four channel monitor that accepts inputs from proximity and seismic sensors, modulates signals to provide various vibration and position measurements, and compares the modulation signals with user programmable alarms.

You can use the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to program each channel to perform the following functions: Radial Vibration, Thrust Position, Differential Expansion, eccentricity, REBAM, Acceleration, Velocity, Shaft Absolute, and Circular Acceptance Area.

The main purpose of the 3500/42M Proximity/Seismic Monitor is to drive alarms by continuously comparing monitoring parameters with configured alarm setpoints, thereby providing mechanical protection. These modules also provide necessary machine information for operation and maintenance personnel.
