RTAC-01 ABB 脉冲编码器是一种光学式位置检测元件，编码盘直接装在电机的旋转轴上，以测出轴的旋转角度位置和速度变化，其输出信号为电脉冲。

RTAC-01 ABB 脉冲编码器的工作原理是当圆光栅与工作轴一起转动时，光线透过两个光栅的线纹部分，形成明暗相间的条纹。光电元件接受这些明暗相间的光信号，并转换为交替变换的电信号。该电信号为两组近似于正弦波的电流信号A和B，A和B信号相位相差90°，经放大和整形变成方形波。通过两个光栅的信号，还有一个“每转脉冲”，称为Z相脉冲，该脉冲也是通过上述处理得来的。Z脉冲用来产生机床的基准点。后来的脉冲被送到计数器，根据脉冲的数目和频率可测出工作轴的转角及转速。其分辨率取决于圆光栅的圈数和测量线路的细分倍数。

RTAC-01 virtual instrument is essentially the product of "soft and hard combination" and "virtual and real combination". It makes full use of computer technology to realize and extend the functions of traditional instruments. RTAC-01 ABB pulse encoder is an optical position detection element, the coding disc is directly installed on the rotating shaft of the motor to measure the rotation Angle position and speed change of the shaft, and its output signal is an electrical pulse.

The RTAC-01 ABB pulse encoder works on the principle that when the circular grating is rotated with the working axis, the light passes through the linear part of the two grating, forming a stripe between light and dark. The photoelectric element receives these light signals alternating between light and dark, and converts them into alternating electrical signals. The electric signal consists of two sets of current signals A and B, which are similar to sine waves. The phase difference of A and B signals is 90°, and they are amplified and shaped into square waves. The signal through the two gratings, there is also a "per revolution pulse", called the Z-phase pulse, which is also obtained by the above processing. The Z pulse is used to generate the reference point of the machine tool. The subsequent pulses are sent to the counter, and the rotation Angle and speed of the working shaft can be measured according to the number and frequency of the pulses. Its resolution depends on the number of turns of the circular grating and the subdivision multiple of the measurement line.
