The central processing unit of the Advant controller Q450 is available in two versions with either 8 or 16 megabytes of dynamic RAM. Both versions are specified as the processor module PM511V. The label on the module side indicates the RAM size (PM511VO8 or PM511V16). The processor module is built around a single microprocessor, the MOTOROLA 68040, which runs at 25 MHZ. Throughout this user guide, the generic name PM511 is always used. On the front of the module, you can see indicators and character displays for advanced system diagnostics.
