Hardware description

The DI810 is a 16-channel 24V digital input module for the S800 I/0. This module has 16 numeric inputs. The input voltage range is 18 to 30 volts, and the input current is 6ma at 24v. The input is split into two separate groups each channel and a voltage monitoring input, each channel has a current limiting component, EMC protection component, input status indicator LED and optical isolation barrier. If voltage supervision is enabled, channels 1-8 and 9-16 will display channel errors if the process voltage for it's channel group fails. The detection time of this monitor is 70 milliseconds. Input channels can be digitally filtered. The different filtering times are 2, 4, 8, and 16 milliseconds. This means that noise pulses are filtered out for a shorter time than the filter, with pulses over 3, 6, 12, and 24 ms passing through the filter. Nine different types of MTUs can be used...
